2023 Mid-Atlantic Golf Outing – Thank You for Participating!

What a beautiful day at Argyle Country Club Golf Course for PCA Mid-Atlantic to welcome a field of business, sport, and civic-minded leaders, donors, celebrities, and supporters to play golf, compete, and most importantly, have FUN – all in an effort to show what youth sports can be -at the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Golf Outing.

Thank you to each and every person who participated to support this event. A special thank you goes out to the event’s presenting sponsor, Deloitte, and to the Beverage and Cart Sponsors, Koons Motors, and Narrative Strategies.  All three Sponsors have been steadfast supporters and have helped PCA grow our mission in the Mid-Atlantic region.

We were thrilled to be joined by First Tee of Greater Washington, DC who was recognized as PCA Mid-Atlantic’s Community Partner of the Year. Their two outstanding young designated drivers at hole #1 were fantastic! Thanks to Langston Hughes and Xander Segha for participating.

It was great fun to hear from DC sports legends, Chris Whitney, 11-year NBA veteran and former Washington Wizard, and 5-time NHL All-Star and Washington Capitals great, Peter Bondra at the post-golf reception with appetizers and drinks. Both shared meaningful stories of their youth sports experiences, discussed a few of their most influential coaches, and threw in a few surprising and funny behind-the-scenes moments from their careers.

Thank you for your participation and support of this event! Your support allows PCA to ensure that we can provide a positive youth sports experience to ALL youth, regardless of their social or economic status. We can’t wait to see you again next year!
